hyperosmia
   The term hyperosmia comes from the Greek words huper (to exceed a certain boundary) and osmè (smell, stink, fragrant, odour, scent, perfume). It is used to denote a " chemosensory disorder characterized by an increased odour sensitivity to some or all odorants. Hyperosmia may also be classified as a type of "hyperaesthesia. The term is used in opposition to hyposmia. Hyper-osmia is classified as an "olfactory illusion (i.e. a smell illusion) or as a chemosensory disorder.
